The Tubalange Mini Hospital is now complete with the medical equipment fit out and staff training completed. ZESCO will be providing a connection to permanent power, with the facility going live in early-may, closely followed by the Nakachenje Mini Hospital just after and Mondengwa Mini Hospital by mid-May.
NMSI Zambia is now active on 14 Mini Hospital (MH) sites with a further 4 sites recommencing in the Mansa Region following heavy rains earlier this year. The locations and construction sequencing of all 20 facilities under the 15% programme have now been confirmed.
The Bauleni Mini Hospital site is currently setting the construction pace with an anticipated 15-week turnaround from commencement to handover to NMSI’s Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Training (ICMT) Team.
