NMSI’s principal local construction partner for these Mini Hospitals, Suscon Construction Solutions, continues to expand its resources in order to meet the scheduled requirements for construction works and now have six active core teams, which are supported by separate travelling architectural finishes and MEP services gangs.
Additionally, Suscon and their civil works sub-contractor Mycrete, continue to engage local villagers and townsfolk to train, develop and mentor across the spectrum of building trades that each Mini Hospital requires, from site labourers through to Architectural Finishing tradesmen. As well as providing an income, this training and mentoring will leave them with skillsets that will help them flourish long after these Zambian Ministry of Health facilities are built.
