Laying of the Foundation Stone with the President of the Republic of Zambia at the Mansa District

On 14th July 2019, NMSI attended the laying of a foundation stone by His Excellency Edgar Changwa Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia. Alistair Johnston supported the teams from Suscon and Mycrete in the preparation of the site and was joined by Dr Bwalya, the Provincial       Health Director.

The President arrived at Chagwa Lungu site in the Mansa District on the 14th July 2019 around 15.30pm where he gave a speech recognising the new MP for the District, Mr Chalwe MP. He then moved onto laying the corner brick on the pre-constructed wall, before congratulating the Hon Minister of Health, Dr Chilufa. The President unveiled the plaque in his honour, assisted by the Provincial Minister and local MP before congratulating NMSI.
