Peggy Sichone, NMSI’s Health and Safety Supervisor, attended a meeting with Chief Mwata Kazambe, at the Chief’s Palace on 28th October to award him with an NMSI Safety Champion Badge that acknowledges safety standards at the highest level.
The meeting was also attended by:

- Aim Kushikila – Director of Works
- Mathews Mulenga – Acting Council Secretary
- Terrion Chungu – Council Chairperson
- Glenda Nachinga – Council PRO
- Paul Kabwe – Representative of Turner and Townsend
The prospective development was praised by Chief Mwata Kazambe, who expressed his optimism that the health facility will accord enhanced treatment and reduced costs in relation to referrals to neighboring districts. He pledged his support, assuring that his office will be at hand to promote project safety and ensure the smooth implementation of the Project.
